On the morning of 23 March 2023, the signing ceremony of the internship base of the School of Foreign Languages of East China Normal University was held at the Pudong Foreign Language School affiliated to Shanghai International Studies University. Vice President Wang Jing said that the cooperation provided a good opportunity for the two schools to exchange ideas and create a platform for mutual learning. Xu Yuqin, Vice Principal of SFSU’s Pudong Foreign Language School, encouraged the internship students to make full use of the resources and gain more teaching experience and knowledge through practice.

This collaboration marks another solid step in the School’s efforts to promote joint schooling between universities and secondary schools. The internship base will start with the cooperation in French and will be extended to other languages in SFL, thus injecting new vitality into the School’s foreign language education and providing students with even better educational resources and practice opportunities.
