In order to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s remarks on education, “using information technology to update education concepts and change education models”, and to implement the requirements of the Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Comprehensively Deepening the Reform of Teacher Training in the New Era, ECNU, together with Tsinghua University and other six universities, continues to undertake the Ministry of Education’s 2023 Spring Integrated Teaching and Learning Program for Young Teachers in Central and Western Universities by opening up our high-quality courses for synchronous online learning to young teachers in central and western universities.

A total of seven courses are provided by our school, including “Intercultural Communication” taught by Professor Zhou Xiaoyong from the University English Department of SFL. Since the course was launched in 2009, nearly 3,000 students have taken it. The course was selected as a key course construction project in Shanghai in 2020 and as a first-class course in Shanghai in 2021.
