On October 21^st, 2023，the 16th Multilingual National Interpretation Competition “Aeon Cup” was successfully held in Beijing International Studies University (BISU). The 114 contestants from domestic and foreign universities competed in the various contests. In the French consecutive interpreting group, Sun Linkai, an undergraduate student of ECNU’s Department of French in Class 2020, performed well and won the Excellence Award, and Hu Huili and Shen Ke were awarded the title of excellent instructors.

　　The competition was conducted in the form of consecutive interpretation, including two parts of translating from French to Chinese and from Chinese to French, covering a variety of fields to examine the comprehensive level of the contestants in terms of professionalism, skill application, message communication and other aspects.
