After a series of selection on the school, city, and provincial level, twenty-eight teams nationwide got the qualification to enter into the final. This competition had the sections of culture quiz, scenario comment & question, and Chinese story telling. ENCU team members demonstrated outstanding capability in problem analyzing and solving under the cross-cultural context. Associate Professor Li Hui was rewarded the Best Adviser Prize.
The cross-cultural competence cultivation has been emerged with the foreign language learning. The satisfying results in the interculture-related contests fully display SFL’s successful efforts in cultivating all-round students with rich Chinese passion, wide global vision, and efficient cross-cultural communication ability.
