On November 29th, 2019, the finals of “Hear your Voice” Shanghai German Recitation Competition organized by Tongji University, was held in the German library of Tongji University. The theme of the finals was “City”. Through their unique voice, 20 university students from 10 universities of Shanghai expressed the rich content of German literary works.

Three students from the German Department of ECNUdelivered excellent performance during the competition . Wang Zixuan won the first prize, Li Heming received the third prize and Cheng Keqing was awarded a prize for excellence.

The students said they benefited a lot from the contest. “ I improved my German expression skills and learned how to better adapt myself to the intense competition,” said Wang.
