The “Second Pre-service Teachers' Quality Demonstration Contest in Normal Universities”, hosted by China University Alliance for the Development of Foreign Language and Literature Discipline, kicked off on December 13, 2019 in Northeast Normal University in Changchun. The theme of this contest was “New curriculum standards, new ideas, new methods”.

Led by Quan Jianqiang, four senior students majoring in English participated in this contest and delivered good performance. Tang Qinyan won the first prize, Gu Shiyi the second prize, Yin Shuqi and Chen Jie the third prize.
