Sasakawa Cup Composition Competition 2019 announced the result on November 18, 2019. The Department of Japanese Language in College of Foreign Languages from ECNU has made the list again since winning the top award in 2017. Ni Jingjing won the Great Prize (the highest award) for ネットカフェ難民under the guidance of Mrs. Yogi Shimada. She will pay a friendly visit of eight days to Japan at the invitation of Japan Science Association in 2020 February. Luo Sizhou won the Excellence Award for 味わうべき“浪人”. Mrs. Yogi Shimada won the Excellent Guide Teacher Award. ECNU was the only university where two students and their tutor won the prize at the same time in this competition.
