The 4th Daxia Inter-School Linguistics Forum, a two-day linguistic research event, was hosted by the School of Foreign Languages of East China Normal University on October 24th and 25th. Launched in 2017, the Daxia Inter-School Linguistics Forum takes academic research as its fundamental pursuit and gives more weight to the discussion during the forum than the form of the forum. With its focus on exchanges among scholars and experts, the forum has achieved tremendous academic influence in linguistic research in China.

The Daxia Inter-School Linguistics Forum has been held since 2017. It has always pursued academic research as its fundamental pursuit, advocating that the form is more important than substance, and the exchange and discussion of experts and scholars are emphasized, so that thinking and academics become the focus of the conference.

The forum has great academic influence in the field of domestic linguistics research. The forum has attracted over 1000 foreign language teachers and graduate students from universities around the world including, such as Oxford University, University of Vienna, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Fudan University, East China Normal University, Sun Yat-sen University, Nanjing University and received positive response., etc. The number of participants exceeded 1,000 and the response was enthusiastic.
