^^Alexandra Potier was born in France in a multilingual family and demonstrated a strong interest in foreign languages and cultures since childhood. ^^
^^At age 22 she moved to Japan where, whilst continuing her higher education, she worked as a language teacher.^^
^^She continued on her path of growth through education when she left Japan for the United Kingdom.^^
^^Whilst teaching in some of the most prestigious universities in London such as Kings College and Imperial College she also graduated in Educational Psychology, obtained a Master degree in French Language Teaching and a Master degree in Education Management. ^^
^^Alexandra published several textbooks for learners of French and compiled published works about Nepalese folktales.^^
^^She made a significant contribution to the language teaching pedagogy in various countries, training teachers and educators in Nepal, Ukraine, Myanmar, Venezuela and in the Middle East.^^
^^Alexandra has been living and working in China for eight years and has taught French and English at Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou and at East China University where she is currently working as a French lecturer.^^
^^Among her many interests in Asia and elsewhere, Chinese culture and arts enjoy a special place.^^
